The Original bag is the most common Edgewood bag used by benchrest
shooters. Filled with heavy sand, it weighs between 10 and 14 lbs.
depending on body height and has a footprint of about 6 ½'' x 8 ½''. We
build it with reinforced leather sides and heavy nylon top and ears
along with a multi-layered ‘donut’ base which allows the bag to sit
firmly on the bench without rocking back and forth.
We also offer the Original bag with a Grab Handle (Click here for picture). Great for F-Class Shooters!!

Minigater |

The Minigater features a larger base than the Original –
approximately 6 ½'' x 10''. When filled with heavy sand, it weighs in
somewhere between 13 and 16 lbs. A much longer earbase is stitched to
the top of the Mini for smoother tracking, especially when shooting
free recoil. The same reinforced sides and donut base are used in this
bag as in the Original.
We also offer the Minigater bag with a Grab Handle (Click here for picture). Great for F-Class Shooters!!

This is a long, heavy bag - about twice the length of the Original
( 6 ½'' x 13 ½ “) – the ultimate in stability. Filled weight can easily
top 25 lbs. depending on body height. It features a padded top for
resting the trigger hand and includes the same choices of ear
combination as the Original. The gater has a multi-layered all flat
base.
Option: Sewing the ears onto the bag top with a slight twist kicks the
front of the bag toward the hand for more handrest area. If you'd like
your ears put on with a twist, let us know, and if you are right- or
left-handed. There is no charge for this option.

| The Edgewood Softy |
The Edgewood Softy is our quality bag for “bag squeezers”. The Softy is
made from heavy Elk Hide for an extra soft, squeezable Rear Bag. The
base is extra thick, but still soft (not a hard donut like the Original
or Gator bags). The fill tubes are located out-of-the-way in the base
and have tabs for easy tuck-in. The ear base is finished with Elk Hide
trim. This bag is approximately 3-1/2” tall with medium height ears and
a 3/16” ear spread – the taller, soft ears will accommodate just about
any stock style. If you prefer to squeeze your Rear Bag for minor sight
adjustments instead of turning knobs on your front rest, the Edgewood
Softy is the perfect Rear Bag for the job.

| The Edgewood Grab Handle Bag |
We made a few of these “handle” bags for customers who were F-Class
shooters and they became an instant hit. The stiff handle makes the bag
a lot easier to carry to the firing line, and the larger footprint of
the bag base makes the bag more stable for shooting off the ground.
These would be excellent bags for varmint hunters who move to new
firing points frequently. The bag-portion of the bag is the same size
as the Original Bag and the Minigater Bag (with bases extended to form
the handles). If - on the Grab Handle Bags - you need a bag height, ear
height or ear stitch width that is different than what Sinclair
International keeps in stock, please contact us; and we'll let you know
the lead-time to ship a bag with your specs (same as available on our
regular Original and Minigater Rear Bags).

Frontbags |

Edgewood Frontbags are constructed much like the rearbags –
reinforced leather sides with nylon tops that have a light layer of reinforcing under the nylon between the ears to keep the sand from shifting. If you want heavier reinforcing, we can add another layer, but this is a special order item. Please specify when ordering if you want this extra-heavy reinforcing.
The inside corners of the bag feature sewn-in nylon inserts to prevent leather from rolling under the stock. The bag’s overall fit is unmatched by any other.
Farley Front Bags have a hard bottom cut to fit into the front basket. 'Common' Front Bags feature ½'' wide leather flaps extending along the bottom edges that you can use to pin down with retaining bars, or the flaps can be punched, notched or cut away all together to custom fit your rest.

| Bolt Holsters |

Our Bolt Holsters fit Panda, Rem. 700 short, BAT and "most" others with
up to a 5" lug. They feature a fold-over snap-top with **Tan Snakeskin
(limited to stock on hand), Black, Red, Navy or Green Cordura inlay and
a spring clip for fastening to your belt. They are heavy duty and fully
lined. Please specify inlay choice when ordering.
NOTE: **Bolt Holsters with Tan Snakeskin are currently priced at $49.50! They are limited to stock-on-hand, but we have many. |

| Snakes |
| Long (approx. 40''), tubular sandbags used to keep bench paraphernalia
from rolling onto the ground. Also keeps bench towels from blowing away
while containing ejected brass. They come to you filled and ready to
use. |

| Stock Protectors |
The Edgewood Stock Protector is a protective leather cover for your rifle stock which lays over the butt stock to keep solvents and oils off the stock while you are cleaning the rifle. Two 1/4" steel rods are sewn into the side edges of the stock protector to keep it in place on the stock. Made of a single piece of quality leather. Approximately 9-1/2" wide and 12" long.

| Hand Rest |
The Edgewood Hand Rest (also called a brick bag) is excellent for
resting your hand or wrist on if you shoot Benchrest, free recoil
style. It also makes a great elbow bag. One end is sloped slightly, so
this bag would work well as a rear bag for a hunting or varmint rifle
in the field. The Hand Rest is manufactured from high quality,
grained-leather with a stiff, double layer bottom so it sits flat. It
has the new bottom-location fill-tube with a convenient tuck-flap. The
bag is 7-1/2” long, 5” wide and 2-3/4” tall when filled full. You can
vary the height and softness of the bag by using less sand.

NOTE: This bag makes a Great elbow rest for
the middle console of many vehicles. When filled with a
lighter/softer-than-sand material (such as popcorn, rice or small beans), it
makes a comfortable place to rest your right elbow while driving. This
can help to relieve the strain on your right arm during those long
drives to the shooting match!
